Ms Qingrui Kong

Qingrui Kong is a Research Associate in Polymer Engineering at the ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science, School of Chemistry, University of Melbourne. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from South China Normal University and a Master's degree in Material Engineering from Monash University. Additionally, she is a Master's by Research candidate in Materials Engineering at Deakin University, specializing in the field of plasma-enhanced titanium dioxide nanoparticles coating for self-cleaning applications with high durability as part of the Deakin-IMCRC-Xefco atmospheric plasma coating system industry project.
Qingrui brings industry experience, having previously worked in carbon fiber manufacturing and in R&D for biodegradable plant-based packaging. Leveraging her strong background in industry R&D projects, she actively collaborates with industry partners, with a focus on facilitating the transition of luminescent solar concentrators photovoltaic device from the laboratory to commercial implementation.
