Piumika comes with extensive administrative skills having previously worked at a Research Centre at Charles Sturt Univeristy. After having worked for over 10 years in the corporate sector in the area of marketing, Piumika crossed over to the academic sector by chance which she has come to enjoy. She has since held various administrative positions both at CSU and at UNSW and currently works in the capacity of a node administrator at UNSW.
