Mr Yazhuo Wang

PhD Student, PhD Student

I'm a PhD student at the University of Melbourne majoring in Physical Chemistry.  I am currently doing my PhD in Physical Chemistry under the supervision of Dr. James Hutchison and Dr. Jialu Li. My focus lies in the exploration of the intricate electrical and optical properties inherent in organic-doped magnesium aluminophosphate molecular sieves (MgAPO-11), as well as in lanthanide Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs). I hold a background in both Chemistry and Chemical Physics. I completed my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2019. Subsequently, I earned my Master of Science in Chemistry with a focus on Theoretical Chemistry. My interests lie in chemical kinetics and thermodynamics, coordination and bio-inorganic chemistry, and their structures such as group theory, spectroscopy and magnetism.

Qualifications:
Master of Science in Theoretical Chemistry - University of Melbourne
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry - University of Melbourne
