Mr Madhuranga Rathnayake | ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science

The goal of Madhuranga’s research is to obtain a better microscopic understanding of the dissolution and crystallisation processes in metal halide perovskites via the use of molecular dynamics simulations. This, however, first requires development of a classical potential that is able to describe the structural, dynamic and energetic properties of these materials in the solid state and in solution, which is where we have begun.
