Dr Patrick Conaghan

Patrick has experience of the fabrication and characterisation of organic optoelectronic devices. He has studied the use of thermally-activated delayed fluorescence to manage the distribution of exciton spin states for enhanced device performance in organic light-emitting diodes and organic photovoltaics. His work at the University of Sydney will encompass investigating the charge transfer state dynamics of organic photovoltaics and incorporating polaratonic emission into practical devices.
