Jesse Collis is a researcher in applied mathematics at the University of Melbourne in John Sader's research group. He completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at the University of Auckland in 2012, he then completed his PhD at the University of Melbourne in 2018. His research focuses on many areas of fluid mechanics with a particular attention to oscillatory micro- and nanoscale flows. He has recently investigated slip at the single nanoparticle level and propulsion of nanorods in acoustic fields.
