Dr Chris Ritchie

Chris' research interests revolve around the central theme of designing functional molecules and molecular materials. Using a suite of synthetic approaches spanning organic and inorganic chemistry, we strive to combine properties of the molecular componentry to yield novel responsive molecules and assemblies.

Current projects include correlating the structural and photophysical properties of mechano- and photochromic compounds.
