Dr Mina Barzegaramiriolya
I have completed my PhD under supervision of professor Uta Wille, at the chemistry department, university of Melbourne in formulating free radical sensors based on organic fluorescent dyes. My post-doctoral research had similar goal of specious-specific detection but with a very different sensor architecture. I was working with Professor Lloyd Hollenberg and Dr David Simpson at the University of Melbourne School of Physics to develop diamond-based ‘quantum sensors’ that use the quantum properties of crystallographic defects in diamond as sensors of magnetic resonance signals.
