Roberto has obtained research experience in numerous fields of physics ranging from quantum photonics, experimental particle physics and neuroscience, by having the opportunity to work with a variety of organisations throughout his studies.
He is currently continuing his interdisciplinary work via a collaboration between exciton science and quantum information teams at Monash University, where he aims to apply information-theoretic techniques to model the unusual blinking patterns of quantum dots in order to better improve efficiencies for dot-based technology.
