Can you make your very own dye-sensitised solar cell?

The objective of this challenge is to produce a dye-sensitised solar cell and manipulate the experimental variables to explore this specific type of technology.  In this category, students are provided with a basic method and a few key materials (posted to schools) and they then get to apply their creative thinking in the production of the cell.  

WARNING-  This is a real challenge!  It could take up to 3-4 attempts to get it to work!

Year Levels:  7-9

Team Size:  2-3 students (mixed year level teams are welcome)
