Learn the basics of DFT in our live online tutorial.

Dr Sherif Abbas of RMIT University will give a brief historical overview of DFT and its role in revolutionising material science and chemistry.

He will demonstrate DFT's success stories via several highly cited, recent papers and explain what DFT offers to experimentalists.

You will also be able to catch up with the recording online later via our YouTube channel.

This talk is aimed at experimentalists with no background of DFT, as well as theoreticians who wish to learn about how to make DFT more relevant to real-life applications.
