Research Fellow in Physical Chemistry and Nanoscience
Monash University is currently seeking a Research Fellow to conduct high-quality research in the area of nanoscience, with an emphasis on synthesis, assembly and spectroscopy of nanostructures. Applications close 10 October 2018.
As the successful candidate you will be based in Chemistry and join a multidisciplinary research team, with strong interactions with other research groups and institutions working under the ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science (ACEx). ACEx seeks to understand how photons interact with advanced materials in order to improve the way we harness and use light energy.
You will focus on the synthesis, assembly and investigation of well-defined hybrid nanoparticle superstructures and using advanced microscopy and 2 spectroscopy to determine their optical response.
To truly excel in this role you will have experience using advanced instrumentation, and will possess sound interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills.
Applications closed 10 October 2018.
