ICONN 2018
ICONN (the International Conference On Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) will be held in Wollongong, New South Wales, from 29 January - 2 February 2018.
The conference will bring together Australian and International communities (students, scientists, engineers and stakeholders from academia, government laboratories, industry and other organisations) working in the field of nanoscale science and technology to discuss new and exciting advances in the field. ICONN 2018 will cover nanostructure growth, synthesis, fabrication, characterization, device design, theory, modeling, testing, applications, commercialisation, and health and safety aspects of nanotechnology.
Confirmed speakers at ICONN 2018 include Nobel Laureates Sir Fraser Stoddart, Dr Ada Yonath, and Professor Steven Chu.
Abstract submissions close on 4 August 2017
The ICONN 2018 organising committee is seeking abstracts. Submission close on Friday 4 August 2017. Guidelines and requirements can be found on the ICONN2018 Abstracts Page.
The Australian Nanotechnology Network (ANN) is offering free registration of Australian based PhD students and Early Career Researchers (within 5 years of PhD award). In order to be eligible you must be:
- A current ANN member.
- A current PhD Student or ECR at an Australian University.
- Have submitted an abstract for ICONN 2018 as the presenting author through the on-line paper submission page of the conference website.
- Received acceptance of abstract.
- Register on or before the early bird deadline of 1 December 2017.
