Machine learning for material science | ARC Centre of Excellence in Exciton Science

This is a series of two online tutorials that covers the basics of using machine learning for material science.

Through two Youtube videos and a Google Colab notebook, Dr Sherif Abbas of RMIT University and Exciton Science will walk you through Python scripts that will enable you to classify materials and predict their properties.

These tutorials are targeted to Masters students, PhD candidates and scientists who have some experience with crystal structure (such as lattice constants and atomic positions).

You will require basic experience with programming (in any language; Python, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, etc).

NB: You don't need to install Python on your computer. You can run Python online on the Google Colab notebook.
